Dalian Explosive Working Research Institute is a hi-tech enterprise, which specializes in R&D, manufacturing and sales of all kinds of explosion welded clad metal plates. We specialize in the welding and deep processing of metal composite materials. Tens of composites have been applied to hundreds of units in China. Some of our products are sold to Japan, USA, Australia and South East Asia, etc, and are very popular. Now Dalian Explosive Working Research Institute is the unique one in China to export metal composites. So far, we have been awarded some honors: "China Science Congress Award" (2 results); "Provincial-level Ministerial-level Major Result and Science & Technological Progress Award" (7 results); in 1989, Dalian Explosive Working Research Institute was listed in the executive unit of National Torch Plan by The Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, and was awarded the title of "Gold Arrow Gold Prize" and "Advanced Hi-tech enterprise"; in 1995, explosive stainless steel clad sheet steel for pressure vessel was awarded "National New Products"; in Aug. 1995, the explosive welding technology of clad sheet steel was listed into the executive unit of National Technological Result Major Extension Plan during the 9th Five-year Plan by The Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China.
Since 1960s, we began to research composite steel plate. During 1970s, we started the development and application of civil products. In 1987, entrusted by the Development Department of Sinopec, we combined Beijing Designing Institute of Sinopec and Fushun Petroleum Third Factory to carry out systematic, overall, deep research and application test to the property of nine common metal composites of Sinopec hydrogenation unit and other pressure vessels, which passed ministerial appraisal in Beijing in 1992, which was awarded "Sinopec Science & Technological Progress Award (Third Prize), and which has been applied to prehydrogenation reactor of Fushun Petroleum Third Factory, hydrogenation dearsenic reactor of Fushun Petroleum First Factory, hydrogenation dewaxed reactor of Dalian Petroleum Seventh Factory, epoxy ethane project of CNPC Jilin Chemical, glue solution condensed kettle of Sinopec Beijing Yanshan Chemical Corporation, 600,000t device of Zhenhai Refinery, atmospheric vacuum tower of Guangzhou Petrochemical and catalytic cracker of Dalian West Pacific Refinery, etc. In 1992, we compiled acceptance standard of explosive composite steel plate for pressure vessel, which has passed the inspection and issued by China National Standardization Committee on Pressure Vessels (No. JB4733-1996). Through overall investigation on the spot in processing equipments, quality control system and quality, etc, Safety, Sanitation and Pressure Vessel Supervision Administration of Ministry of Labour And Social Security, PRC supervises the manufacturing of our products. The equipment technology center of Sinopec accepts our products as recommended products of petrochemical engineering construction. China Petroleum Materials Equipment Corporation accepts the company as first-class supply network of China National Petroleum Corporation.
